"Canis Maximus" (which means "The Great Dog" in Latin) works only with best European bloodlines. We train, show and do health tests on all our dogs used in breeding. We breed rarely carefully selecting the stock. We believe that Doberman is a working breed and our great interest is in maintaining the working talents and skills of this breed. We participate in IPO, VPG and ZTP Trials.
Dobermans have been my companions for almost 30 years. I really love handling and raising my pups - I spend a tremendous amount of time in the whelping box, imprinting them from birth, I spend hours "leveling" the litter, modifying dominance and submissive behavior and socializing them in my home to better prepare them to live with you. I selectively breed for a lower prey drive, my pups are still 100% dobermans, but just a bit easier to live with. I only have 1 or 2 litters a year. Parents live with me, come for a visit!
