Since 1980, Crosswind Kennels has offered professional Retriever Training for the waterfowl and upland Gundog, as well as Field Trial training from basics through all age work for competition. We know what genetics are necessary to produce the ideal hunting companion and therefore focus on selectively breeding pups from proven FC/AFC bloodlines for intelligence with great attitudes, sound athletic bodies, but foremost for natural hunting instincts, focus, and trainability. All breeding stock is health certified by OFA and CERF, and pedigrees are carefully chosen to avoid known genetic problems.
Prairie Sky is a very small hobby breeder located in central Iowa a very short drive east of Des Moines. We breed our dogs to conform to AKC breed standards. Our goals are to produce healthy, happy well socialized dogs. We only have puppies occasionally. Members of the Central Iowa Kennel Club.
